About the author

Dr. Pankaj Kalita is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology of Eastern KarbiAnglong College, affiliated to Assam (Central) University. Before joining in this institution he rendered service in the PG Department of Biophysics of Pub Kamrup College affiliated to Gauhati University. Dr. Kalita graduated from Gauhati University and completed his M. Sc. from Dibrugarh University and Ph. D. from Assam (Central) University. His research interest is neuroscience through nanobiotechnology, computational biology approaches. He has published more than 25 nos. of research articles in different journals of RSC, ACS, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley etc. and 14 book chapters in the books of different international and national publishers. He has edited 5 nos. of research books and organized different academic events including two national seminars as Organizing Secretary.
Dr. Subrata Mondal graduated from Presidency College (affiliated to the University of Calcutta) with a bachelor's degree in chemistry (Honors) before obtaining a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) in 2015. During this time, he completed a summer internship at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata, where he received foundational research exposure to functional materials and their biomedical applications. This research experience proved to be a transformative one for him as he set his sights on a research career in India. In 2015, he joined the PhD program at IIT Guwahati to work on the biophysical aspects of Alzheimer's Disease (AD). During this time, he investigated some major biochemical events that trigger the onset of Alzheimer's Disease. He also developed some novel biocompatible materials with promising anti-Alzheimer activities. A deep interest in AD prompted him to win a Commonwealth Scholarship and move to Prof. Michele Vendruscolo's laboratory at the University of Cambridge. Currently, he is working as a postdoctoral scientist at Dublin City University, Ireland. Dr. Mondal has been awarded the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship and Marie Sk¿odowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship for outstanding performance in his field (h index 8, citation 196).
Dr. Sudip Paul is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Technology, North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, India. He completed his post-doctoral research at the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering, The University of Western Australia, Perth and Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, with a specialization in Electrophysiology and brain signal analysis. He has many credentials in his credit out of which his First Prize in Sushruta Innovation Award 2011 sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and also he also organized many workshops and conferences out of which most significant are the IAN 2022 Meeting, IEEE Conference on Computational Performance Evaluation 2021 and 2020, IBRO School 2017, IBRO Global Engagement Workshop 2020 and 29th Annual meeting of the Society for Neurochemistry, India 2015. Dr. Sudip published more than 80 International journal and conference papers. He is having four granted patents and another 5 are under review. He completed many book projects from Springer Nature, Elsevier, IGI Global etc. Dr. Sudip is a member of different Societies and professional bodies, including IAN, APSN, ISN, IBRO, SNCI, SfN, IEEE, IAS. He received many awards, especially the World Federation of Neurology (WFN) traveling fellowship, Young Investigator Award, IBRO Travel Awardee, and ISN Travel Awardee. Dr. Sudip also contributed his knowledge in different international journals as editorial board members. He has presented his research accomplishments in the USA, Greece, France, South Africa, and Australia.
