About the author
Asha de Vos is a marine biologist, ocean educator, and pioneer of blue whale research in the northern Indian Ocean. An adjunct research fellow at the Oceans Institute of the University of Western Australia, she is also the founder of Oceanswell, Sri Lanka’s first marine conservation research and education organization. Her work has been featured in
