About the author

Ichiro Iwasaki is a specially appointed professor at the Department of Law, Economics and Management of Okinawa University in Okinawa and a research fellow of the Institute of Economic Research of Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo, Japan. He specializes in corporate finance and comparative economics. He has authored nearly 250 publications in scholarly books and international journals.
Xinxin Ma is a professor in the Faculty of Economics at Hosei University in Tokyo, Japan. Her areas of expertise include labor economics, transition economies, comparative economics, and the Chinese economy. She has published over 200 scholarly works, including books and journal articles in English, Chinese, and Japanese.
Satoshi Mizobata is an emeritus professor and a specially appointed professor at the Institute of Economic Research, Kyoto University in Kyoto, Japan. His research focuses on corporate governance, comparative economics, and emerging market economies. He has published nearly 200 scholarly books and journal articles.
