Erika Hager, geboren in Raab, Oberösterreich, fand nach Auslandsaufenthalten in England, Frankreich, den Niederlanden und Canada die »Mitte ihrer weiten Welt« im Waldviertel. 25 Jahre unterrichtete sie Englisch und Philosophie am Gymnasium Gmünd. Studien an der University of Calgary, Wien und an der Southbank University, London.
