Informationen zum Autor Jonathan Emmett is a bestselling author and paper engineer and the creator of many successful books for Macmillan including RUBY FLEW TOO! (978-1-4050-9026-1) and EMERGENCY RESCUE! (978-0-230-52875-8). He won the Red House Children's Book Award in 2006 and was shortlisted for the Richard and Judy book awards in 2007. This story was inspired by the real Santa traps that Jonathan built as a boy. Like Bradley, Jonathan hates getting socks as a present. Poly Bernatene studied drawing and painting at the Buenos Aires School of Fine Art, where he is now a visiting professor. As well as working in animation and comics, Poly has illustrated over 60 children’s books. He lives in Argentina with his wife and two young children, and has never tried to trap Santa. Vorwort Meet a beastly boy with a dastardly plan – to ruin Christmas! Zusammenfassung Bradley Bartelby is bad, VERY bad. He’s greedy and naughty and selfish and spoilt – and Santa Claus knows it. But when beastly Bradley empties his Christmas stocking to find nothing but a pair of socks, he does quite the baddest thing he has EVER tried to do. He builds a trap – a SANTA TRAP! With guillotines, dynamite and a tiger or two, Santa doesn’t stand a chance. Or does he?
