Andrew Ngeh è nato l'8/1/72 a Ndu. Ha studiato nelle università di Buea e Yaounde1, in Camerun. Ha conseguito un dottorato di ricerca in letteratura africana e da diciassette anni insegna poesia africana, letteratura anglofona camerunese e teoria critica all'Università di Buea. È stato coordinatore dell'uso dell'inglese tra il 2002 e il 2004.
