Mike Collins is best known as the penciller on the Panini Doctor Who Magazine. He is the storyboard artist for Doctor Who, has illustrated two Doctor Who graphic novels, and has drawn for the US IDW Doctor Who series. Mike has been creating comics for over 25 years and has worked for Marvel, DC, 2000AD and a whole host of other publishers. He currently draws a series of noir crime fiction graphic novels - Varg Veum - in Norse and provides storyboards for TV and films, including Doctor Who, Warhammer 40K, Igam Ogam, Claude, Hana''s Helpline and Horrid Henry. He lives in Cardiff, Wales and his studio is a short walk away from The Rift. He has a wife, three daughters, a neurotic cat and is an enthusiastic yet staggeringly inept dancer.

Mike Collins has worked in illustration for over 40 years, drawing almost every big-name comic book character along the way, and is best known for his Doctor Who drawings for Doctor Who Magazine, IDW, Titan and two graphic novels for BBC Books, as well as writing and drawing Doctor Who online games for Tiny Rebel.
In animation, Mike has worked on shows as diverse as Warhammer 40k and Horrid Henry. He is the illustrator of two original graphic novels and has worked on many other books and magazines across various genres. Mike has also been a storyboard artist on TV shows including Doctor Who, Fool Me Once, His Dark Materials, Good Omens, The Witcher, Midwich Cuckoos, Lazarus Project and The Famous Five. In 2024, he was the artist for the comic tie-in with the concept album Croix-Noire.
Mike lives in Cardiff, Wales and is married with three daughters, three sons and three grandchildren.
