About the author

Nikolaos Tsetsos is a Consultant in ENT, Head & Neck Surgery currently practicing at the 424 General Military Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece, and a military doctor. He received his medical degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He obtained two  Master’s Degrees, one  in Salivary Gland Diseases and the second in Medical Research Methodology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has written several chapters in medical books and authored more than 50 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Marios Stavrakas is an ENT, Head and neck Surgeon specialising in Rhinology and Endoscopic Anterior Skull Base Surgery and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Plymouth. He gained an MSc in Surgical Sciences (MSc, DIC) from Imperial College, London, United Kingdom, and a PhD in Otolaryngology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has undertaken higher subspecialty training in Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery. He co-edited one book and contributed several chapters to medical books. He authored more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
Konstantinos Garefis is an ENT, Head & Neck Surgeon at the 2nd Academic ORL, Head and Neck Surgery Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, located in Papageorgiou Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece. He is currently completing his fellowship in Audiology at the same Department. He has also obtained two Master’s degrees, one in Medical Research Methodology and another in Salivary Gland Disorders, both from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has authored more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals.
