About the author
Manoj Kumar Dalai, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, is currently employed at the Kanak Manjari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Rourkela, Odisha. He obtained his B.Pharm. from Berhampur University, Berhampur, Odisha. He then pursued his M.Pharm. and Ph.D. at Jadavpur University, West Bengal. He currently has over 25 years of teaching experience and 3 years of experience in the industry. He published over 20 academic papers, abstracts, and book chapters. He has been fulfilling the role of reviewer for various esteemed journals, including the Journal of Ethnopharmacology. He received a DST Travel Grant award from the government of India and attended the ethnopharmacology conference in Graz, Austria. He is a member of multiple professional organizations, such as APTI, ISTE, IPS, and SFE. He is focused on investigating medicinal plants and their potential for treating Alzheimer's disease.
