This edition of Scrivener's Textus Receptus contains the entire New Testament in Greek.
The text is accurate and includes accents and breathing marks. This is an easy-to-real edition with a large font size (unlike most other available editions of Scrivener's Textus Receptus).
In 1881, Frederick Henry Ambrose Scrivener produced a significant Greek edition of the Textus Receptus. Scrivener's edition was based on Beza's Textus Receptus but was further edited to match the textual variants adopted in the Authorized Version (King James Version).
The translators of the King James Version did not rely on a single edition of the Textus Receptus but instead they incorporated readings from multiple editions of the Textus Receptus, including those by Erasmus, Stephanus, and Beza. Additionally, they consulted the Complutensian Polyglot and the Latin Vulgate - and even made use of textual emendations.
Thus, Scrivener's Textus Receptus resulted in a Greek text which, although rooted in the tradition of the Textus receptus, is uniquely aligned with the particular readings of the Authorized King James Version.
