The work aims to analyze how the Catholic Charismatic Renewal sought to put homosexuality into discourse in the period between 1990 and 2010. The documentary corpus used for the research consists of printed sources and texts posted on charismatic websites. The analysis showed that the Charismatic Renewal reaffirms the sexual morality historically defended by the Catholic Church. However, in dialoguing with the debates present in society, they end up using social demands as raw material for their products. These products are widely marketed in the form of books, with features similar to the formats defined as self-help. The analysis of the sources also pointed to the existence of an attempt to build a cognitive bridge between religion and science by taking up old representations of homosexuality as a disease that can be cured through spiritual treatment combined with psychological treatment. In this way, the movement articulates a religious discourse with a commercial logic.
