About the author

Hossein Nassaji is Professor of Applied Linguistics at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He has received several prizes and awards including the Kenneth W. Mildenberger Prize of Modern Language Association of America, the Research Excellence Award, University of Victoria, and the BC TEAL 50 at 50 Award. He has been recently elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
