Landry Signé is a Senior Fellow at the Global Economy and Development Program and Africa Growth Initiative at the Brookings Institution. He is a Professor and Executive Director at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, distinguished fellow at Stanford University, Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum Regional Action Group for Africa, Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum Friends of the African Continental Free Trade Area, and Member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on the Future of Technology Policy. He is a world-renowned professor and leading practitioner bridging ideas and actions to solve some of the world's most complex challenges, who has won over 80 awards and distinctions globally for his academic, policy, business, and leadership accomplishments, including being recognized as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader for "finding innovative solutions to some of the world's most pressing issues," one of "Apolitical's 100 Most Influential Academics in Government" in the world, one of the "100 Most Influential Africans" in the world and "Thought Leader Extraordinaire" by New Africa Magazine, an Andrew Carnegie Fellow for being one of the "most creative thinkers", a Desmond Tutu Fellow, a Rubenstein Fellow, and a Wilson Center Public Policy Fellow.
