Hija del cineasta mexicano Emilio "El Indio" Fernández y Gladys Fernández. Estudió actuación y dramaturgia en la Universidad Iberoamericana y en el CCC. Escribió cuentos, poesía, teatro, libros de antropología e historia mexicana, y filmó dos cortometrajes.

Daughter of Mexican filmmaker Emilio "El Indio" Fernández and Gladys Fernández. She studied acting and playwriting at the Universidad Iberoamericana and the CCC. She wrote short stories, poetry, plays, books on anthropology and Mexican history, and directed two short films.
