The work in question sought to get to know the trainers of future YAE educators, considering their latest published works in the field. To make this possible, the federal universities located in the state of Minas Gerais were mapped to identify the presence of Youth and Adult Education (YAE) subjects in Pedagogy courses and their respective teachers. After the search, the option was made to work with the productions of teachers at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), as it offers the oldest Pedagogy course among those mapped. As a result, this study found different realities among the needs of the YAE in Brazil, from the perspective of the articles analysed, when compared to the commitments to be met by CONFINTEA member countries set by the international agenda.
