About the author

Lindzi is originally from Texas (now calling Chicago home). Lindzi started in the world of research--obtaining her MA in psychology from the University of Chicago. Little did she know her love of numbers and sweets would come together sooner than she thought. As the co-founder and co-CEO of XO Marshmallow, Lindzi is the driving force behind XO Marshmallow's rapid growth, with over a decade of e-commerce, branding, and social media marketing experience. When not working, Lindzi is often sharing travel tricks, entrepreneurial tips, and how to DIY with an eye for design. She finds joy in tending to her many (many) plants, planning her next trip with husband, Drew, and hosting parties that are effortless and chic.
Kathryn Connor did not have "start a gourmet marshmallow company" on her bingo card. Originally from Chicago, she studied at Hollins University, where she majored in creative writing and political science, before earning her J.D. at Marquette University Law School. After her first batch of homemade confections caught the attention of her friends and family, she ditched her lawyer life to pursue a sweeter endeavor. Now, as co-founder and co-CEO of XO Marshmallow, she oversees the production of all of the company's delicious treats and the people who make them. At home, Kat enjoys long walks with her small dogs, learning how to crochet (send help), and eating dessert before dinner. This is her first cookbook.
