Marcus Hall is an environmental historian at the University of Zurich. Hall's research interests have focused on such subjects as restoring, rewilding, invasive species, warfare, earth art, chronobiology, malaria, parasites and microbes. His books include Earth Repair (2005), Restoration and History (2010), Nature and History in Modern Italy (2010, with Marco Armiero) and Mosquitopia (2021, with Dan Tamir).
