Online attachment, as a means of satisfying labour creditors, must be adapted to the principles of enforcement in the labour courts. The judiciary must use technology in its favour, as a way of keeping pace with the constant changes in society. Labour law protects employees; however, in order to provide a real and satisfactory judicial service, procedural law must be effective and be able to enforce its decisions. Seeking this effectiveness in the enforcement of labour law, online attachment has emerged as an instrument used by labour judges to block, unblock and seize amounts deposited in accounts or intended for financial investments, through exchanges of information made possible by electronic means, in the procedural phase of enforcement of sentences. As a technological innovation used to aid justice, online attachment must follow pre-existing rules in the country's procedural system, especially with regard to respect for constitutional rules and the principles applicable to enforcement in the labour courts.
