Die in Luxemburg geborene Autorin Laura Laberge (Pseudonym) legt mit diesem Kriminalroman ihr viertes Buch und zugleich ersten Krimi in englischer Sprache vor. Bereits als Kind verfasste die begeisterte Hobbypianistin mit Vorliebe Kurzgeschichten. Ihr erstes Buch erschien 2008 unter dem Titel "Nur wegen Dir", der zweite Titel "Eine Spur von Leben" erschien 2009 und 2011 erschien der Krimi "Geheimakte Frank Mayer".
