S.R. Mohanty arbeitet seit kurzem als Dozentin für Hauswirtschaft im Grundstudium sowie als stellvertretende NCC-Beauftragte am Banki Autonomous College. Sie verfügt über mehr als zwei Jahrzehnte Erfahrung in Lehre und Forschung. Vom Royal College of Science and Technology in Bhubaneswar wurde sie zur Royal Teacher of the Year 2012 ernannt.
