The general aim of this study was to find out how higher education provides nursing students with guidance on occupational health care. Specifically,it aimed to find out about the teaching-learning process involving workers' health in undergraduate nursing courses in the west of Santa Catarina and to identify strategies that can promote the training process for this theme and foster advances in the National Workers' Health Policy.

About the author










She has a degree in Nursing (2007) and a Master's in Health Sciences (2014) from UNOCHAPECÓ. She is currently a lecturer in nursing at IFSC. She has experience in nursing, working mainly in occupational health, nursing care, sterilisation and the ICU.
