In a world where social networks play a major role in the daily lives of young people, this book explores the many dimensions of this digital revolution. Social networks offer unprecedented opportunities to connect with friends, share experiences and access a wealth of information. They enable young people to keep in touch with loved ones, discover new cultures and participate in global discussions on a variety of topics. However, this digital age is not without its challenges. Social networks can also be the scene of cyberbullying, where young people are harassed or ridiculed online, which can have serious consequences for their mental and emotional well-being. Social networking addiction is another major problem, where time spent online can encroach on school activities, family relationships and healthy leisure pursuits, and exposure to inappropriate or misleading content can negatively influence young minds in training.
