About the author

Gordon Cook is an aspiring writer, a real-life commercial manager, an occasional heavy drinker and a keen festival and gig goer. Hailing from the UK's West Country (close to the well-loved town known as Stroud) he is Rosella House's bestselling author (currently Rosella House's only author but that's by the by). In the past he has contributed writings to the local paper (more of a quote really) and a well-known credit management magazine (about a game he once invented). The author was also a founding member of the indie rock band Parousia (not the relatively famous one from Buffalo USA, rather the relatively unknown one from Stroud). In addition, he holds a Psychology degree that he has literally done nothing with since graduation. His writing style has been said to be...... Well, it is a little different. Within the pages of his books, you can expect to find humour, surrealism, pain, love, kindness and brutal honesty. For better or for worse you will also find political satire and thinly veiled social commentaries. Specifically, you will find the present, the future and the past all in one place and, if you are there at the right time, you may even find yourself.
