Communication is essential for promoting healthy coexistence in all contexts, and it needs to be planned in order to provide a message that generates dialogue and tolerance between diversities within institutions. In this context, the aim of this work was to draw up an internal communication plan to promote tolerance of sexual and gender diversity within a school environment. The channel chosen to convey this message were lectures given to students. Teachers were also sent content by e-mail so that they could disseminate the information about this project to future students, if they deemed it relevant. This plan was validated because the students themselves felt that this channel could be an agent for promoting tolerance in the school environment and that the content of the message given was of the utmost importance for their personal and professional lives.
