Informationen zum Autor Maria Teresa Munoz Espinosa is an archaeologist. She studied at the Escuela Nacional de Antropologia e Historia (Degree in Archaeology) and at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (Master in History of the Art and Doctorate in Meso-American Studies). Professor-Researcher Full Time: Direccion de Estudios Arqueologicos del INAH. Head of the Project Archaeological North of the State of Queretaro, Mexico, from 1990. This project had financing of CONACyT (2003-2006). Investigation periods in the Universities of Texas in Austin and California in Berkeley, U.S. She has published diverse works around their investigation area, among them her books Cultura e historia de la Sierra Gorda de Queretaro, Mexico (2007) published by CONACyT and the editorial Plaza y Valdes, and "Los animales ensenaron el camino..." La fauna de la Sierra Gorda queretana a traves de sus representaciones ceramicas arqueologicas (2021), published by Archaeopress.
