About the author

Sophie lives in London and likes to spend her time reading detective stories and eating pizza. She loves her job writing and editing children's books but thinks she would be good at solving mysteries too. When she retires, she plans to open a detective agency by the sea.Pauline Gregory has had many jobs, but drawing and painting have stuck with her since childhood. Drawing is the quiet place she loves to be, and silliness and humour are at her core, so combining the two makes her very happy. She works in her home studio in Cornwall with her loopy dogs Magoo and Roo.
