About the author
Ashuk Miah is an immigration lawyer who has been advising on immigration law for almost 20 years and has been involved in delivering ESOL lessons to students since it became a requirement by the UK Border Agency from 2009. He is one of a few selected immigration lawyers who are chosen to explain the complexities of immigration rules to television audiences in the United Kingdom, Europe and Central America on a regular basis. He regularly appears on live TV shows where he answers questions from viewers from all over the world. Ashuk Miah has run an approved ESOL Centre since 2009 and is therefore familiar with all the teaching materials and the kind of questions candidates can expect to encounter in the Life in the UK test examination. This book is the result of his extensive research to help students pass the exam.
