About the author










Anand J. Kulkarni holds a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence (AI)-based distributed optimization from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, an M.S. in AI from the University of Regina, Canada, a bachelor of mechanical engineering from Shivaji University, India, and a diploma from the Board of Technical Education, Mumbai. He worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Odette School of Business, University of Windsor, Canada. Since 2021, he has currently working as Research Professor and Associate Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at the MITWPU, Pune, India. Anand is Founder of OAT Research Lab. Anand is Lead Series Editor for Springer and Taylor & Francis as well as Editor of Elsevier journals. His Marathi book on AI received the prestigious Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Award in 2023. Anand has delivered expert research talks in countries such as the USA, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Australia, Dubai, and France.

Mostafa Hahiaghaei-Keshteli is a Distinguished Research Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, School of Engineering and Science, Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico. He has got all his bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Engineering. He is a co-founder of the Center of Sustainable and Smart Logistics (CLIS). His main research areas are Sustainable and Smart Logistics, Supply Chain Integration and Optimization, Energy Supply Chains, MCDM, and Combinatorial Optimization. He has developed some food and agricultural supply chains as well as designing some famous and capable Metaheuristics Algorithms in optimizations, such as Keshtel Algorithm (2012). He is the principal researcher of some research international projects, such as EU Projects. Also, he is in charge of the seed grant project with University of Ottawa, Canada. He was ranked as one of the top 5 scholars in the area of Supply Chain and one of the top 2% scientists, according to the SciVal and Scopus reports. Mostafa is ranked #1 in Closed-loop Supply Chain and Reverse Logistics in North America and #2 Worldwide. Besides, according to research.com, he is one of the top 5 scholars in all Engineering fields in Mexico. He is also a member of the editorial board in some top journals in Elsevier and Springer, such as ASOC, EAAI, AIR, and ESWA. He has a solid industrial background, especially with European industries, such as Food, Dairy, Poultry, Engine, and Automotive.
