Often, in countless documents, we see deviations from the standard norm of the language that a particular nation uses, or even grammatical typos that are literally visible, even in official correspondence documents, magazines, scientific articles and newspapers (especially diaries). We imagine that this could be a hypothetical question from any reader: what must be at the root of these errors? Well, we think it's a legitimate concern, but we won't try to answer it here. However, if you have the patience to read this article to the end, you will certainly get the clarification you are looking for. Aware of this reality, the investigation into the use of Communication and Expression Techniques in the production of the covers of the newspaper Notícias was justified. These techniques are the basic elements of written production in all languages. As well as being suitable for readers, scholars and professionals in the field of journalism, the study aims to broaden knowledge about how newspapers are produced and their importance as a source of information and training in the proper use of the Portuguese language.
