Jacob Taubes

Jacob Taubes (1923-87) was one of the most important Jewish thinkers of the 20th-century, but until recently there has been little academic writing about him. Elettra Stimilli presents the first English translation of Taubes'' work, which has proved so essential to philosophical and theological studies. About the author

Elettra Stimilli is Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. She is the author of Jacob Taubes (2004) and The Debt of the Living (2017) and the co-editor, with Dario Gentili and Glenda Garelli, of Italian Critical Thought (2018).
