Microcrystalline arthropathies include the following three pathologies:- gout caused by precipitation of sodium urate crystals; - chondrocalcinosis caused by precipitation of calcium pyrophosphate crystals;- chondrocalcinosis, caused by precipitation of calcium pyrophosphate crystals; - apatitic rheumatism, caused by the deposition of calcium hydroxyapatite.
