Xuan Gao, PhD, graduated from University College London. His scholarly interests are in 2D materials using MBE and STM techniques, exploring surface and interface phenomena. Gao's academic achievements are notable, having received numerous honors and awards, including the Dean's Prize of UCL, nomination for GRS/ORS scholarships, and various scholarships and awards for his outstanding academic performance and contributions. He has also been recognized for his excellence in extracurricular activities, such as his roles as a student cadre and youth league cadre.
