"100 Careers to Know in Film and Television" is the third edutainment book, curated and written by Ashley Támar Davis, as a conduit to provide awareness into the vast careers in the Entertainment Business. As art programs are continually underfunded and removed from schools, Ashley provides an educational resource for teens and young creatives as a way to enlarge their minds about uncharted topics such as careers to consider, both off-camera and behind-the-stage.
Ashley Támar Davis, founder of Syren Entertainment and Media Group, LLC., is a Music Supervisor, Clearance, and Licensing Coordinator for projects such as: "Ladies First: The Women in Hip Hop" (NETFLIX)," "Trap Jazz" (HULU), "Three Ways" (HULU), "Cherish the Day," (Season II/OWN), "That Damn Michael Che," (HBO MAX) and more. A graduate of the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music in Music Business, Ashley, known as the muse & protégé of Prince, gained notoriety for co-writing their Grammy-nominated duet "Beautiful, Loved, and Blessed." A Hollywood Music in Media Award Recipient, Ms. Davis is currently on tour with the Stewart Copeland Orchestra, a featured soloist on the "Police Deranged for Orchestra" album and has graced the Walt Disney Hall stage with the LA Philharmonic, guest starred in both "Chippendales" (HULU) and "BRUH" (BET+), and has received raved reviews in Broadway classics: "Ain't Misbehavin," "Motown the Musical," and "A Night with Janis Joplin" where she was nominated as Best Featured Actress.
