Human Dignity and the Right to Life - Analysis of the ADPF No. 54 Judgment. DE

The basic foundation of democratic constitutional states is the obligation to safeguard the dignity of the human person. In Brazil, this obligation is expressed in article 1, item III of the Federal Constitution.This raises the question of how to promote the implementation of efficient public policies that guarantee the preservation of human dignity, in conjunction with the other constitutional principles defended by the Brazilian state, such as the right to life?
