The monograph is devoted to the fauna, peculiarities of ecology and distribution of ixodoid ticks in biogeocenoses of Uzbekistan. Physiological and biochemical mechanisms of tick-host interrelations are analyzed. Toxic characteristics of bioactive substances of salivary glands of dominant ixodes and argas ticks are presented. Mirzaeva Adolat Usmonboyevna, de 2001 a 2005, obteve o grau de bacharelato na instituição de ensino superior - NU Uz. De 2005 a 2007, obteve o grau de mestre na instituição acima referida. De 2007 a 2010, durante os seus estudos de pós-graduação, realizou uma investigação sobre a fauna de ácaros da família Agrasidae e a toxicidade das suas glândulas salivares.
