New technologies have made a significant contribution to building innovative practices that are in line with students' realities. The student of the 21st century has changed, so teachers need to re-evaluate their teaching methodologies in order to keep up with these transformations. Biology teaching brings with it a range of possibilities, but the teacher needs to see them. Therefore, this book seeks to present some articles that portray the experience of teachers and students with regard to the teaching of Biology, as well as the difficulties and possibilities that make up this area of knowledge.

About the author

Master's student in Genetics and Breeding at the Graduate Programme in Genetics and Breeding at the Federal University of Piauí-UFPI (2018-2020). Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Piauí-IFPI (2017). He currently works in the area of Quantitative Genetics and Genetics teaching.
