This work brings together the conceptions of school assessment held by public school maths teachers working in the final grades of primary school, as well as students' views on school assessment in the final grades of primary school in the public school system in the state of Paraná. The educational institutions where the questionnaires were administered were spread across various regions of Paraná.

Marlisa B. de Almeida - Master's in Mathematics Education from the State University of Maringá (2009) with degrees in Pedagogy and Mathematics from the State University of the Midwest (2004, 2000) and a specialisation in School Psychopedagogy from Unicentro (2002).
