The authors are professors at the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo, Mexico, in the areas of mathematics and agricultural economics (the first author), languages (the second author) and natural resources (the third author). They have published multiple books and articles on water footprint, physical, economic and social productivity of water and applied mathematics, as well as natural resource management, and their area of interest is the proper management of water used in agricultural and livestock production.

About the author










The main author is an agronomist engineer and specialist in Arid Zones with a Master's degree in Economics in the area of Investment Projects and a PhD in Agricultural Economics. The other authors are PhD in Education and Natural Resources of Arid Zones. All three are full-time research professors at the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo, Mexico.
