Abby Wells loved Christmas Con- when she was younger, and her mother ran it. Christmas Con is a fanfest that lets lovers of holiday movies feel as though they are strolling down the set of their favorite film while interacting with the stars that bring the stories to life.
This year, Abby is taking the reins as a nod to her late mother. Her return to Christmas Con is bittersweet as she is flooded with memories of her mother, including the last few years of refusal to join her at the popular event.
Overwhelmed by the magnitude of running the massive convention, Abby, who prefers to stay in the shadows, finds herself frequently thrust into the spotlight. Working alongside troubled actor Brett Walker, an assignment his agent is hoping will re-win the hearts and minds of the studios and fans, only seems to make matters worse at nearly every turn.
Abby and her reluctant assistant focus on the fans and foster children that the event supports while trying to the resist magic of Christmas and its impact on their hearts.
