About the author










Hao-Yang Mi is an Associate Professor in Zhengzhou University in Zhengzhou, China. Dr. Mi obtained BS and PhD degrees at the South China University of Technology majoring in polymer processing engineering in 2010 and 2015 respectively. He was a visiting scholar and postdoc in the University of Wisconsin-Madison, US, and a research fellow in Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He joined the National Engineering Research Center for Advanced Polymer Processing Technology, Zhengzhou University in 2019. His research focuses on polymer foams and their multifunctional applications, especially research on novel foaming techniques, and micro-nano structure manipulation. He has authored over 100 scientific publications and holds 14 patents. He is directing many national research funds on the development of advanced polymer foams for functional applications.
