Hamid's principal research area for a number of years has been in the field of cyber security, information security and digital forensics.

Reza Montasari is a Senior Lecturer in Cyber Threats at the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law. Reza's main research interests lie in the areas of Digital Forensics and Cyber Security but also include Cyber Law and Cyber Terrorism.
