About the author










Kaushik Pal received his Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Physics from the University of Kalyani, India. He is Associate Professor-in-Charge at the University Centre for Research and Development, Department of Physics, Chandigarh University, India. He was awarded the Honorís Causà Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) from Higher National Youth Skills Institute (IKTBN) Sepang, Government of Malaysia and the 'Gold Medal' by the Prime Minister of Malaysia for significant contribution in 'sunlight sterilized graphene face mask formulation' and 'green energy revolution strategies'. Prof. Pal received the prestigious Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (Greece) offered by European Union Sponsorship, and the Chief-Scientist Faculty Fellow (PDF) nominated by Chinese Academy of Science foundation in Wuhan University, China. As a distinguished academician, Prof. Pal has contributed innovative research discoveries and smart teaching methods cultivated at top-tier institutions, including Universidade do Rio de Jàneiro (Brazil), University of Maribör (Slovenia), Yarmouk University (Jordan), and IIUCN-Mahatma Gandhi University (India). A well-known expert supervisor for PhD/Postdoctoral scholars and an experienced group leader building inter- and cross-multi-disciplinary centers of excellence, he has published more than 120 articles in peer-reviewed (SCI/Scopus) international journals and partially edited or authored 26 books with reputed publishers.
Dr. Tean Zaheer earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. She pursued an MPhil in molecular parasitology from the same institution. She has been working on alternative control options for disease vectors and vector-borne pathogens of animal, human, and those of zoonotic concern. Currently, she is working as a technical editor to the largest veterinary periodical in Pakstan: The Veterinary News and Views.
