About the author










Omran Al-Kuwari is an international executive with over twenty five years of experience in various industries including clean energy, hydrocarbons, education and R&D, in both the private and public sector. Omran worked in various roles in Qatargas, ExxonMobil, GreenGulf, and in Qatar Foundation in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Omran sits on several energy and technology related boards, and regularly writes and speaks on topics related to the energy transition, sustainability, climate change, entrepreneurship, energy economics and renewable energy. Omran holds a PhD from UCL's Institute for Sustainable Resources, an MBA from City University London, and a BA from George Washington University.
