About the author

Dr. Yahui Wang is an assistant professor at the Beijing Institute of Technology, serving as the founder of the Future Mobility Lab, and holding a membership in the China Ergonomics Society. Dr. Wang has about 10 years of research and industrial cooperative practice experience in automotive UX design, human-machine interaction, and innovative design. His primary focus lies in human-machine interaction design and user experience of the automotive industry and improves the academic infrastructure by combining interdisciplinary cooperation and in-depth design practice. Dr. Wang has successfully led intelligent vehicle human factors evaluation and innovative pre-research projects for prominent automobile brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Changan, Huawei, Dongfeng, and more. His current research activities focus on the evaluation and optimization of automotive user experience and interface design using scientific human factors design tools and intelligent algorithms. Using psychological, cognitive, and neuroscience experimental paradigms and a range of human factors engineering methods, the future mobility lab, under his leadership, delves into uncovering the users' unconscious attitudes/emotions, preferences, motivation, and decision-making. Through these comprehensive studies, Dr. Wang aids his clients in gaining a profound understanding of the impacts of new technologies or features on users' driving performance, mental workload, and overall driving safety.

Zhirong Xue is the co-founder of MiX Copilot and author of books such as 'AI Changes Design', 'Advanced Interaction', and 'Technical Books for Designers'.

Jun Li, currently a senior product designer at a leading intelligent driving technology supplier, is responsible for the experience design and research of intelligent driving human-computer interaction. She graduated with a master's degree from Wuhan University and has been engaged in experience design for more than ten years. She has worked at Huawei, Wutong Auto, and other companies, successfully leading the interaction experience design of several products, and focusing on the HMI design of intelligent cockpits in the past four years.

Siyu Jia is a lead consultant/experience designer at Thoughtworks. With over seven years of experience in user experience research and design, she possesses extensive practical experience and a solid theoretical foundation in user needs exploration, multimodal interaction design, and usability testing. Siyu has provided design consulting services for renowned automotive brands in China, Germany, the USA, and Japan. Her work encompasses overall vehicle product definition, innovative concept design, HMI design, and more. Several new energy vehicle products she contributed to have been successfully mass-produced and launched over the past 2 to 3 years. She has been a guest speaker at industry conferences, including IxDC. Siyu is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, holding a master's degree in Information Science with a research focus on human-computer interaction.

Baoling Yang, a seasoned UX designer at IM Motors Technology Co., Ltd., brings 8 years of extensive design experience to the table. Having previously contributed her skills to renowned companies such as Tencent and NIO, she now focuses on voice interaction design at IM Motors. Thanks to her innovative mindset and design thinking, Baoling clinched the top spot in two innovation competitions within IM Motors. Additionally, she holds numerous design patents, showcasing her proficiency in the field.
