About the author

Dr. Kent Van De Graaff is a well-known and highly-respected author. For McGraw-Hill, he has written the best selling human anatomy text and a top human A&P text. He received his Ph.D. from Northern Arizona University.

R. Ward Rhees is a Professor of Zoology at Brigham Young University. He received his B.S. (1967) in Pharmacy at the University of Utah and his Ph.D. (1971) in Physiology at Colorado State University. He taught at Weber State College and has been a Visiting Professor in the Department of Anatomy and the Brian Research Institute at the UCLA School of Medicine. His research on sexual differentiation of the brain has been published in numerous leading scholarly journals and presented at national and international conferences.
