Mineral requirements for goats

Minerals are an important component of a goat's diet and have a significant influence on production rates. The aim of this book is to demonstrate the importance of mineral requirements and their essentiality for the formation of supplements that can adequately meet the nutritional requirements of these animals, interfering with productivity levels, such as higher rates of weight gain or higher milk production.

About the author

The author holds an undergraduate degree, a master's and a doctorate from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) and a post-doctorate from UFRPE/UAG. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Alagoas. He has experience in nutritional requirements, microbial protein, carcass evaluation and production of goats, cattle and buffalo.
