The book discusses about the infringement of trademarks under the Indian trademark act. With the globalisation of trade, brand names, trade names, marks etc, there has been a rapid increase in the infringement of registered trademarks. This thesis examines the implementation, enforcement and evolution of trademark laws in India in regards to infringement. The study further explores the functions and essentials of trademarks. The aim of this paper is to discuss infringement and its various forms with a key focus on the exceptions to infringement under the Indian trademarks act, 1999.

About the author










From November 2022 to December 2023, I served at K.R. Mangalam University's School of Legal Studies, teaching subjects such as Company Law, Comparative Criminal Procedure, Family Law, and Human Rights. I also organized workshops on competitive exam preparation for final-year students, conducted a code of conduct seminar for non-teaching staff.
