Our research is within the framework of the preliminary study which concerns psychomotor therapy and body schema in the intellectually disabled, hence the motor dimension with such as the test of balance, coordination, jumping in the pre-test and post-test of a BPM measurement of 60, 90 and 120 (BPM) with the YO and YF. The cognitive dimension with such as the test of mastery of the own body and latero-spatial organization under the Berces and Lezine test of imitation of gestures and latero-spatial organization under the Piaget and Head test. Indeed, the affective dimension revolving around self-esteem was measured with the self-perception profile for adults with intellectual disabilities (PPSDI) on physical appearance, athletic competence and psychomotor competence.

About the author










The authors Associate Professor Dr. Safari Dieudonné was born in Zaire in 1983 and Cyuzuzo Alice(Bsc) was born in Rwanda in 1989, all currently residing in southern Rwanda. Safari is a university lecturer and Cyuzuzo works at the hospital while teaching in the health field.
