This book was based on the scarcity of data on the productivity and adaptability of exotic forage cultivars in northeastern Brazil. The constant search for alternative means of growing forage cultivars by local farmers has opened the way for new research into forage adapted to water scarcity that can support ruminants during the dry season.

About the author

She is a Zootechnician from the Federal University of Alagoas (2009), MSc. in Animal Production from the Federal University of Alagoas (2011) and PhD. in Forage Science from the Federal University of Paraíba (2015). She was a Substitute Professor at the Federal University of Alagoas (Arapiraca Campus) in 2015, a PDCR Researcher (2016 to 2018) and a Full Professor at CESMAC.
