About the author










Ken Dowlin holds degrees in history, library and information science and public administration. His 36 year career began as a bookmobile driver, was director of four public libraries ranging in population size from 50,000 to San Francisco's 750,000. His last position was a professor in the largest distance education MLIS program in the country.
